Lantern show lights up Langshan Mountain

The second Langshan Mountain Chinese New Year Lantern Festival opened in Nantong on Feb 2 and runs until March 22, lasting 49 days. This year's festival features a roughly 1.36-kilometer route with 20 large lantern displays. These installations artfully combine traditional culture with modern technology, creating a magnificent journey of light and shadow.

Chongchuan district, the main urban district of Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has enjoyed a reputation as a "land of promise" since ancient times. It holds jurisdiction over 15 sub-districts and two provincial development zones and one provincial high-tech zone, making it the most densely populated region of Nantong.
