As Spring Festival approaches, the workshop at Jiangsu Dasheng Group's carbon-neutral smart spinnery, located in the Chongchuan district of Nantong, is bustling with activity. 

As China's first carbon-neutral smart spinning factory, a nationally recognized excellence-level smart factory, and a pilot enterprise for carbon neutrality standards in the textile industry, this plant integrates digitalization, intelligence, the internet of things, and green, low-carbon technologies to establish a "smart + green" development model. 

It is expected to achieve staffing of fewer than 8 people per 10,000 spindles, improve production efficiency by over 30 percent, reduce overall energy consumption per unit by more than 20 percent compared with traditional production, and achieve near-zero carbon emissions in production operations and products.
