From dazzling seas of lights to traditional craft workshops, and from theater melodies to bustling markets, come and experience the vibrant blend of international flair and local traditions in Nantong, Jiangsu province, during the Spring Festival.

From Feb 2 to March 22, the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area will hold an entrancing lantern show. With three themed exhibition zones featuring a myriad of lantern displays, the area will transform into a mesmerizing world of light and shadow, making the nights truly enchanting.

The immersive night tour along the Haohe River brings to life the stories of Nantong, including the legacy of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), a renowned patriot, industrialist, educator, and philanthropist, while also showcasing Shen embroidery, blue calico, and banyao kites, offering a unique "tour in a painting" experience.

On Feb 21, the fifth day of the Chinese New Year, Nantong will host simultaneous Spring Festival folk parades across various locations. In the Nandajie business block, as well as in Qidong, Tongzhou, and other areas, parade routes will feature traditional performances like dragon and lion dances and stilt walking, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

The Nantong Art Museum will showcase exhibitions of woodblock and lacquer paintings, while the Nantong Museum will feature a jade ruyi exhibition from the Palace Museum, running until March 18 and accompanied by educational activities.
