Last September, Jiangsu Lixing General Steel Ball, a Rugao-based company, signed an agreement with Shanghai Jiyou Mingyu Machinery Technology and other partners to jointly invest in Jiyou Lixing (Shanghai) Technology.

The new venture set out to focus on new energy vehicles, automated equipment, robotics, and related upstream and downstream products, with the goal of building a high-end Chinese brand for transmission components.

Momentum continued to build earlier this month as Jiyou Lixing's wholly owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Jili Precision Technology, was launched in Rugao. Jili specializes in the research, development, and large-scale production of high-performance transmission components for automobiles and robots. This represents a major move by Lixing within the embodied intelligence industrial chain.

The new facility is equipped with automated production lines and a high-standard testing system, enabling the mass production of core components with high consistency and reliability. This provides solid support for product engineering, commercialization, and broader market applications.

Adding to the growing ecosystem, Shanghai-based NexForce Robotics has established operations in Rugao, focusing on joint modules and rotary components. With their complementary products and technology pathways, the two companies are jointly strengthening foundational hardware capabilities, further reinforcing Rugao's position in advanced manufacturing and robotics-related industries.
