The popular Russian water dance troupe WetMen explored Haimen on Nov 29, ahead of their show Show in the Rain. The troupe members immersed themselves in the city's scenic beauty, culinary delights, and rich culture.
The dancers first visited Changlewan Farm, where they learned to make wontons under the guidance. Despite initial inexperience, their enthusiasm filled the air with laughter, bridging language barriers.

Lunch featured Haimen specialties like braised mountain goat meat and Wannian taro, with crispy eggplant cakes earning unanimous praise.
The group then toured Yisheng Winery, marveling at century-old fermentation pits and savoring aged wine. In the ceramic exhibition hall, porcelain bottles captivated them with exquisite craftsmanship.
"They look like glowing works of art!" said Ivan Kurs, a WetMen member, taking several photos before selecting a delicate ceramic cup as a memento. "This is a great souvenir, and it'll serve as a reminder of today's discoveries."

The last stop was Qinglong Port 1806 Scenic Area, where they admired riverside views and listened to the tales of the region's maritime history. Against the sunset, they captured unforgettable moments.
"Every place has been delightful," said Mark Edward, another member of the troupe. "From the warmth of the farm and rich history of the winery to the beauty of the riverside scenery — it all feels fresh and exciting!"
