Jiangsu Shengyi Technology Co, located in Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ), Tongzhou district, released two International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) international standards on Nov 20‌, marking a breakthrough for Nantong enterprises in the field of international standards for electronic circuit base materials‌. 

IEC is a non-governmental organization established in 1906, dedicated to formulating international standards in the domains of electrical, electronic, and related technologies. 

Xu Tingting, general manager of Jiangsu Shengyi, said, "the release of the two standards means that our technical strength has gained recognition from global industry authorities." 

As a key company in the integrated circuit industry chain in NHIZ, Shengyi focuses on high-frequency copper clad laminate, a core material for 5G base station antennas, and has built an integrated system covering R&D, marketing, procurement, production, and manufacturing. 

At present, the high-frequency circuit boards it produces are widely applied in the base station equipment of globally renowned communication enterprises such as Nokia, ZTE and Ericsson. 

That same day, the company also inaugurated its spaceborne special research center, marking a crucial step forward for the company in developing high-end fields such as aerospace and emerging industries.
