Autumn splendor at Shuihui Garden
The Shuihui Garden in Rugao, Nantong, is breathtaking in autumn. In the Gudan Garden, ancient ginkgo trees have turned solid yellow, their fan-shaped leaves glowing as if plated with gold. Under the sunlight, the branches shimmer so brightly they seem almost unreal.
Look up, and you'll find a crisp blue sky framed by a crown of dazzling yellow. Look down, and fallen leaves soften the dark gray bricks, creating a gentle, poetic contrast underfoot.
By the Xibo Pool, golden branches cast their reflections onto the still water, intertwining with the shadows of nearby pavilions. The scene feels like a painting — quiet, layered, and rich with the serenity of late autumn.
