The Rugao Longevity Culture Exhibition Hall opened to the public in Shuihui Garden, providing an immersive experience of the city's long-standing longevity traditions.
Divided into six sections, the exhibition combines artifacts, text panels, multimedia displays, and artistic works to present the history, science, and contemporary significance of Rugao's longevity culture.
Visitors can trace the origins of longevity in the historical gallery, gain insights from famous long-lived individuals, and learn about the achievements of regional health industries. The "Secrets of Longevity" section encourages visitors to delve into the scientific and cultural reasons behind Rugao's designation as a World Longevity City. It is also enhanced by a dedicated calligraphy and painting zone featuring local artists.
The exhibition was developed through a collaborative effort involving many community members. The Rugao Longevity Research Association provided important research materials, while local artists helped design the art display. Retired officials, historians, and scholars contributed valuable insights and historical records. Volunteers also participated by offering visitor guidance and interpretation services.
The exhibition hall serves as a lively new landmark, highlighting Rugao's distinctive culture of health, harmony, and vitality for visitors worldwide.
