The week-long fourth China University Beach Football Championship concluded on Oct 17 at Binjiang Sports Park in Chongchuan district, Nantong. 

The competition is the most prestigious event for university beach football in China, attracting athletes from 18 universities, including Fudan University, Beijing Sport University, and Hohai University. 

After intense competition in the sands, athletes from Shenyang Ligong University won the women's championship, while athletes from East China Normal University claimed the men's championship. 

In recent years, Nantong has actively promoted the integrated development of sports, culture, and tourism. This competition both demonstrated Nantong's unique natural scenery bordering the Yangtze River and the Yellow Sea and strengthened the city's sports vitality alongside the Jiangsu Football City League.
