The expansive rice paddies of Jiangxinsha Farm in Haimen are shifting from vibrant green to a yellow-green shade as the rice ears gradually fill and ripen. On this fertile land, flocks of egrets have arrived as usual, becoming consistent visitors to the fields.
These egrets gracefully dance above the layers of rice or leisurely forage along the shallow banks. Their white silhouettes stand out against the lush greenery, forming a vibrant scene that highlights the area's pastoral and natural beauty.
The egret, known as an "ecological inspector", serves as a living indicator of air and water quality. They prefer habitats with dense vegetation, stable water sources, and plentiful food.
The appearance of these egrets not only indicates the excellent quality of Haimen's ecological environment but also reflects ongoing ecosystem improvements, increased biodiversity, and the harmonious relationship between humans and nature.
