Table tennis players battle for glory at CTTSL in Tongzhou
Over 400 athletes from across the country recently gathered in Wujie town, Tongzhou district, Nantong, to compete in the Chinese Table Tennis Super League (CTTSL).
The two-day event featured singles competitions. All categories adopted a best-of-three-sets format, with each set adopting an 11-point scoring system. The singles events were divided into 11 age and gender-specific groups. In each group, a round-robin phase came first and was followed by a knockout stage to determine the final rankings.
Chinese world champions Chang Chenchen and Yu Ziyang attended the opening ceremony and interacted with table tennis enthusiasts.
