Tongzhou cinematic work clinches award in Macao

Little Girl Like A Sunflower, a movie produced in Tongzhou district, Nantong, which shines a light on the psychological well-being of adolescents, recently won the Outstanding Film Award at the second Macao International Children's Film Festival.

The film tells a heartwarming coming-of-age tale. It centers around a group of fifth-grade students who, at first, feel distant from and are bewildered by their classmate Mo Li, who has autism spectrum disorder. As the narrative unfolds, they gradually learn to accept, embrace, and grow alongside her.

Since its release, Little Girl Like A Sunflower has been screened over 4,000 times in primary and secondary schools across the country, capturing the hearts of young audiences far and wide.
