In the first half of this year, the border checkpoint in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, examined more than 880 inbound and outbound flights, and over 61,000 passengers, representing a 57.2 percent and 18.60 percent increase year-on-year, respectively.

To handle the increasing passenger traffic and the rising number of international travelers, the Nantong border checkpoint closely monitors port activity, opens inspection lanes, and manages peak passenger clearance times, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and orderliness of entry and exit procedures.

Statistics show that from January to June, over 3,000 foreign passengers entered and exited China through Nantong, including more than 1,400 arrivals, with visa-free entry passengers making up 33.7 percent.

With summer vacation starting, the number of parent-child trips and group study tours has risen at Nantong Xingdong International Airport.

The Nantong border checkpoint reminds all inbound and outbound travelers to stay updated on customs clearance information before traveling and verify the validity of entry and exit documents and visas. If travelers encounter difficulties during the clearance process, they can call the national immigration management agency's service hotline (12367) or seek help from the immigration police officers on duty.
