A new high-precision aluminum manufacturing project broke ground on July 8 in Matang town, Rudong county.

Launched by Jiangsu Qiangshi, the intelligent production project focuses on lightweight aluminum parts and carries a total investment of 500 million yuan ($69.75 million).

Spanning a planned area of 17,000 square meters, the project is expected to achieve an annual output of 90,000 aluminum discs for textile machinery and 1,300 metric tons of aluminum auto parts (mainly wheels) once fully operational. Annual taxable sales are projected to reach 450 million yuan.

Local government departments in Matang town will work together to provide efficient and high-quality services to ensure fast-track construction and production.The project is expected to unlock strong development potentialin  and further boost the local manufacturing industry.
