The Nantong municipal bureau of commerce and Nantong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Association recently arranged local companies to participate in the fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo held in Changsha, Hunan province, from June 12 to 15.

The Nantong delegation includes representatives from companies such as Zhongtian Technology Group, Nantong Yitaiming Real Estate Co, and Nantong Tongli Metal Technology Co, covering various industries such as engineering construction, manufacturing, and new energy.

During the expo, the Nantong delegation visited featured areas such as the China-Africa Cooperation Famous Brand Exhibition, African Products Exhibition, and China-Africa Fashion Industry Exhibition, and engaged with professional exhibition halls such as the Smart Mine Technology and Equipment Pavilion, China-Africa Clean Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Pavilion, and Modern Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Pavilion.

The delegation also held multiple business negotiations with the Tianjin Foreign Economic Cooperation Association, the commerce departments of Yancheng and other regions, as well as representatives from domestic and foreign enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities.

This expo, which brought together representatives from governments, think tanks, enterprises, and financial institutions from China and Africa, was an important platform for practical economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.

More than 30,000 individuals from 53 African countries, 11 international organizations, 27 Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, and over 4,700 Chinese and African companies and business associations registered to attend the fourth edition.
