The Richard Clayderman Piano Concert will take place at the Nantong Grand Theater in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on July 20.

Richard Clayderman, born in Paris in 1953, started learning piano at the age of five. By age six, he was acclaimed as a piano prodigy for his fluent finger technique. At 16, he began performing original compositions and gained fame with his solo piece Ballade pour Adelin. This piece won him the global Golden Piano Award. Since his first visit to China in 1992, he has developed a deep connection with the country.

At this concert, Clayderman will perform his signature pieces, including Ballade pour Adeline, A Comme Amour, and Wedding in A Dream, awakening the audience's memories of youth with romantic melodies. Additionally, familiar movie themes like Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Chorus will be reinterpreted, infusing classics with new vitality through a blend of pop music elements and timeless melodies.

He has also prepared Chinese-style pieces like The Butterfly Lovers and Red Jasmine and White Rose to bridge the cultural gap between himself and the audience, creating a fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.
