The super factory project of Nalink New Materials (Nantong) Co, located in Haimen district, Nantong, was officially put into operation on April 30. 

The new factory is an intelligent manufacturing base focusing on the R&D and production of high-end window films and is intended to serve global markets.

With a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($138.38 million), it spans 100 mu (6.67 hectares) and features a construction area of 75,000 square meters. It is expected to produce 25,000 metric tons of intelligent nanomaterial products annually. 

The parent company of Nalink is Shanghai Nalinv Technology Co, which specialized in inorganic nanomaterial application R&D. It was recognized among China's first batch of specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprises and high-tech enterprises.

In 2021, Nalinv made plans to establish a full-industry-chain window film manufacturing facility near Shanghai, and Haimen was ultimately chosen for its location advantage and high regard in new material industry.
