The Jiangsu provincial tour of outstanding stage and folk art performances, organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, was held in Rugao on April 26. The show featured ten works from across the province, offering a rich and diverse display of Jiangsu's cultural vitality.

The evening opened with a dynamic song-and-dance performance by the Nantong Art Theatre, followed by a powerful erhu ensemble by the Wuxi National Orchestra that electrified the audience. The Jiangsu Acrobatic Troupe delivered a breathtaking act, while the Rugao Puppet Art Troupe impressed with its intricate craftsmanship. Other highlights included elegant performances of traditional Chinese opera styles such as Huangmei Opera, Xiju Opera, and Yangzhou opera.

Outside the performance hall, a bustling intangible cultural heritage fair offered visitors a multisensory experience. Attendees enjoyed local delicacies, explored handcrafted heritage products, and immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere.
