Haimen's new landmark Haimen Star Tower breaks ground
The construction of Haimen Star Tower, the city's newest landmark, officially commenced on April 25, accompanied by the signing ceremony for the UrCove by Hyatt Hotel, which will be settled in the complex.
Developed by Nantong Guochang Real Estate Co, with a total investment of 550 million yuan ($75.39 million), the project spans 60,000 square meters and rises 142 meters with 30 above-ground and two underground floors. Its architectural design draws inspiration from the dynamic flow of rivers and oceans, blending modern aesthetics and natural harmony.
The tower features three groundbreaking characteristics: a boundary-free landscape office building with fully enclosed curved glass, a shared community anchored by the international hotels, and a 100-meter-high "cloud-top urban lounge" offering panoramic city views.
The project's launch marks a strategic milestone in enhancing Haimen's urban competitiveness and fostering high-quality economic growth. By integrating commercial, hospitality, and ecological elements, Haimen Star Tower aims to redefine the city's skyline, activate the local commercial real estate economy, and establish a sustainable model for urban development.
