Chinese, intl friends enjoy cultural exchange event in Chongchuan
The Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange Event and the Encountering Happiness series activities commenced in Chongchuan district, Nantong, on April 26.
The spring market of the event featured six categories with nearly 30 stalls, including cultural experiences, international exchanges, Chinese intangible cultural heritage showcases, recruitment events, local specialties, and diverse food offerings, attracting both Chinese and foreign participants.
The international booths displayed products from Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and other countries. Meanwhile, booths featuring traditional Chinese culture — such as tea art, incense ceremonies, ancient games like touhu (pitch-pot), and intangible cultural heritage snacks like fermented rice wine — drew much engagement from the audience.
The event also highlighted Chongchuan's ecological charm through camping experiences and wildlife park tours.
