Rudong customs recently visited Huihong (Nantong) Safety Products to provide an in-depth explanation of credit management policies. The session aimed to help the company enhance its internal controls, compliance practices, and trade security measures in order to meet the requirements for Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification.
"With improved internal management, we've effectively controlled production costs, enabling us to compete confidently in markets along the Belt and Road," said Li Zhen, CFO and board secretary of Huihong.
The company's exports are primarily directed at overseas markets, with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative becoming a key area for expansion in recent years. From January to November, the company's exports to these markets reached 128 million yuan ($17.53 million), a year-on-year increase of 106.2 percent.
This year, Rudong customs has actively optimized the local business environment to support high-quality trade development with BRI countries. Through regular visits and research, it has addressed company concerns, promoted compliance processes, and accelerated customs clearance.
Wang Shuai, an official from Rudong customs, reported that Rudong's exports to BRI markets exceeded 8 billion yuan from January to November, a year-on-year growth rate of 18.08 percent. Rudong customs will further refine its regulatory services to help enterprises integrate more deeply into BRI markets, Wang said.
