The conference centered around critical topics such as hydrogen storage, applications, and safety control. Experts and industry leaders engaged in discussions about the hydrogen industry’s current challenges and future trends, offering valuable insights for expanding hydrogen application scenarios and exploring new business models. Notably, five significant projects were signed during the event.

Rugao is emerging as a hub for the hydrogen industry. The city currently hosts 24 hydrogen-related enterprises, including one national "little giant" enterprise and five equity investment projects. Rugao has also established the only national hydrogen energy vehicle research and testing public service platform in the Yangtze River Delta region with testing qualifications. Furthermore, the city has been recognized by the United Nations Development Programme as a "Hydrogen Economy Demonstration City".
