A digital printing machine exceeding three meters in width and over 50 meters in length in Jiangsu Zhouji Digital Printing Co Ltd, Nantong's Tongzhou district, was launched and put into operation on Sept 20.

Zhou Jian, chairman of the firm, stated that it is currently the most advanced digital printing machine globally and the world's first wide-format single-pass high-speed digital coating and printing machine. The machine is equipped with 336 print heads, capable of printing over 90,000 meters of fabric per day, achieving hundreds of color combinations, and producing prints that almost achieve a 3D effect visible to the naked eye.

The high-speed digital printing machine utilizes a circular nozzle design, ensuring flatness, continuity, and stability. The machine is ten times more efficient than conventional digital printing equipment and boasts a water-saving rate exceeding 97 percent, enabling the reuse of treated water without generating wasted dyes during production.

In a bid to bolster the company's core competitiveness, Zhouji Digital Printing has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Hangzhou Honghua Digital Technology, with a total investment exceeding 85 million yuan ($12.11 million).

This partnership will see the introduction of dozens of the most advanced domestic digital printing machines, including the single-pass high-speed digital coating and printing machine. It also involves constructing a modern digital factory encompassing printing, post-processing, and finished product shipment processes. Once fully operational, the factory's coating and printing capacity could reach as high as 400,000 meters per day.
