Five enterprises in Haimen district, Nantong recently made the 2024 provincial list of intelligent factories, according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.

The listed enterprises are Baosteel Magnetic Industry (Jiangsu) Co, Jiangsu Langhui Industrial Development Co, Nantong Good Taste Food Co, Jianshun Biotechnology (Nantong) Co, and Jiangsu Sterlite Optical Fiber Technology Co.

Baosteel Magnetic Industry (Jiangsu) Co has established an intelligent factory system for soft magnetic powder, enabling the in-depth integration of automatic production and informatization management. It has minimized energy consumption, reduced operation intensity and operation mishaps, and improved product quality and production efficiency.

Langhui emphasizes technology upgrading and investment in intelligentization, with its intelligent management covering 23 scenarios, while Good Taste has achieved intelligent management by purchasing intelligent equipment and software systems.

Digitalization, networking, and intelligentization are the keys to new industrialization and crucial to fostering new quality productive forces.

While developing emerging industries, Haimen district has in recent years upgraded its traditional industries with intelligent manufacturing and launched relevant measures to inspire local businesses to pursue intelligent reform and digital transformation.
