On July 1, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering Co Ltd in Qidong launched a 7,600-cubic-meter LNG bunkering vessel for a Canadian company. The vessel is the last in a series of three LNG bunkering ships built for the Canadian client.
The vessel measures 112.8 meters in length and 18.6 meters in width and has been classified by Bureau Veritas, a French company specializing in testing, inspection and certification.
The design of the LNG bunkering series incorporates the latest maritime technologies, significantly reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the vessels are equipped with advanced thrusters, offering excellent maneuverability for liquefied natural gas loading and bunkering under various conditions.
All three LNG bunkering vessels are expected to be delivered this year. CIMC SOE will continue to provide efficient and environmentally friendly LNG bunkering services to the global shipping industry, supporting the industry's transition towards green and sustainable development.
