Nantong Haimeng Textile sees significant growth through intelligent manufacturing
Nantong Haimeng Textile Technology Co Ltd, the largest interlining production base in China, has an annual production capacity of 30 million meters of interlining and 10,000 metric tons of knitted fabrics. Located in Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, the company has become a supplier for numerous renowned clothing brands.
Haimeng Textile has continuously pursued breakthroughs in smart manufacturing by introducing advanced equipment from home and abroad, establishing a digital and intelligent textile dyeing workshop.
Inside the production workshop, an energy management system displays consumption metrics such as electricity, water, and natural gas used in dyeing fabrics. This system provides early warnings when energy consumption reaches set thresholds, helping the company reduce energy losses during production.
"This year, we invested 5 million yuan ($688,659.83) to add an intelligent dyeing machine and a shaping machine production line, which we expect to be operational by the end of June," said Yin Chong, deputy general manager of the company. "By then, our knitted fabric capacity will have increased by about 100 tons per month, while we expect our annual invoiced sales to rise by a total of 20 million yuan."
Currently, Haimeng Textile holds a 10 percent share of the global pure cotton adhesive interlining market. In the first half of the year, the company's invoiced revenue increased by 36 percent year-on-year, with the full-year sales expected to reach 220 million yuan.
"We place great emphasis on research and development," added Yin. "Our R&D department includes one doctor and two master's degree holders, developing over 100 new products annually."
