The groundbreaking ceremony for the Gaiya high-end dairy processing base, the first project in the Hai'an Commercial and Logistics Park, was held on June 6.

The project is funded and developed by Jiangsu Jiahui Biotechnology Co Ltd with a total investment of 250 million yuan ($34.75 million) and covering an area of 37 mu (2.47 hectares). Once the first phase is operational, it is expected to produce 200 metric tons of dairy products per day, effectively filling a gap in the market for high-quality dairy production and processing in Hai'an.

The event also featured the signing ceremony for the Freshippo village project in Yazhou town. This project, benefiting from the park's status as a hub and the city's strength in high-quality agricultural products, demonstrates Freshippo's firm commitment to rooting itself in Hai'an.
