A cultural exchange event centered on the the Dragon Boat Festival recently took place in Tianshengang sub-district, Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Community residents from Chongchuan and over 20 international students from Nantong Vocational College engaged in cultural exchange activities to learn about the Dragon Boat Festival – a traditional Chinese festival.

They participated in fun activities such as pitching the pot, making traditional Chinese medicine incense hammers, experiencing intangible cultural heritage through lacquer fans, and learning to make zongzi, or sticky rice dumplings, immersing themselves in Chinese Dragon Boat Festival customs.
