Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province has organized 45 companies to participate in the ongoing 135th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, occupying a total of 66.5 exhibition booths.

The participating companies from the county span various industries including hardware tools, household textiles, food, and fitness equipment.

Jiangsu Changbang Security Technology Co Ltd, one of the leading professional labor protection companies in China with the most extensive range and specifications of labor protection gloves, has brought over 200 types of products to the fair's first phase, as Wu Qian, the company's sales representative said.

Another long-standing participant from Rudong, Jiangsu Mexin Optoelectronic Technology Co Ltd, has been deeply involved in the security field for over a decade. The company boasts advanced research, production, and inspection equipment, and primarily produces more than 100 products which are exported to Europe and the United States, such as photochromic welding masks, welding helmets, and welding goggles.

Jia Weidong, general manager of the company, mentioned that their new product, a laser welding cap, has attracted considerable interest from potential clients. He explained that the technology of the company's patented laser welding cap prevents the laser machine from operating if the operator is not wearing the cap or if the cap is not in the protective position. Currently, this type of product is still in the early stages of market introduction.

The Canton Fair is recognized as the longest-running, largest-scale, most comprehensive, and most successful international trade event in China. This year’s fair opened in Guangzhou on April 15 and will continue until May 5, organized in three phases.
