The first edition of the Colorful Rapeseed Flower Festival commenced in Pingyuanchi village, Rugao, Nantong, on April 5.

The three-day festival offered a plethora of activities, including a fireworks display, colorful kite flying, a traditional Chinese clothing parade, and sightseeing train rides.

Amidst the rapeseed flower fields, vibrant colors of pink, red, orange, and yellow complement the common golden rapeseed flowers, creating a picturesque scene alongside windmills, scarecrows, and other scenic elements.

In recent years, Pingyuanchi village has actively promoted rural vitalization strategies, focusing on the development of rural tourism by exploring characteristic resources such as ecological sightseeing and folk culture.
