The first International Conference on the Advanced Optical Manufacturing Industry is set to take place in Rugao, Nantong, Jiangsu province on April 16-17.

The conference will bring together entrepreneurs, scientists, professionals, suppliers, investors, and policymakers in the field of optical manufacturing from both home and abroad. Together, the participants will explore future development trends and technological innovations. The event is expected to foster collaboration, discover business opportunities, and promote international cooperation and exchange.

The conference will feature keynote speeches by prominent figures, reports by academicians, roundtable forums, and contract signings. Additionally, it will host three parallel forums focusing on industry, optical manufacturing, and optical testing, respectively.

The conference will be chaired by three distinguished figures: Jane Jiang, Zhang Xuejun, and Wolfgang Osten. Jiang is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the International Academy for Production Engineering. Zhang is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Osten is a fellow of the Optical Society and the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
