Representatives of Haimen district in Nantong, Jiangsu province and Taiwan-based Jin Yi Cherng Precision Co signed an agreement on Feb 18 to establish a $100-million factory.

The facility will mainly produce high-end components such as ABS/ESC motor shafts, automotive EPS, automatic transmission motor shafts, motorcycle parts, and motor components.

The products will be widely used in new energy vehicles, motorcycles, construction machinery, hydraulics, air conditioning, servo motors, and other applications.

Guo Xiaomin, Party secretary of Haimen, outlined during the signing ceremony that the district boasts a favorable geographical location and modern industrial systems, highlighting that the launch of the facility will play a pivotal role in advancing the district’s high-quality development.

Guo added that authorities will spare no effort to offer premium government services to ensure that the construction of the project will commence as soon as possible.

Established in 1968, Jin Yi Cherng has established a presence in cities such as Dongguan in Guangdong province, and Taicang, Kunshan in Jiangsu province.
