The Rugao Jiaogang Water Conservancy Hub Scenic Area was recently recognized as a provincial-level water conservancy scenic area by the Jiangsu Provincial Water Resources Department.

The scenic area is located in Shizhuang town and covers an area of 0.51 square kilometers, with 0.35 sq km of water area. It focuses on water engineering, water culture, filial piety, water conservation, ecology, history, folk culture, and more. It also offers exhibitions, promotes science, and has various recreational options.

The scenic area has many attractions, such as Ink Square, the River Chief System Theme Park, the Water Pump Science Popularization Park and more.
