A 100-million-yuan advanced manufacturing base in Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, commenced operations on Dec 20, following an inauguration ceremony earlier the same day. Funded by Shanghai-based Jiere Technology Co, the facility boasts a 1,700-square-meter production workshop geared to mass-produce flagship products. These include the Wafer ambient and high-temperature wireless temperature measurement systems and a cryogenic platform system with ultra-low vibration which operates without the use of liquid helium.

Jiere Technology Co specializes in the design, development, production, and sales of temperature measurement and control products. These products find broad applications across various sectors such as semiconductors, quantum technology, power, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, food, and transportation.

Pan Huafeng, general manager of Jiere, said that the decision to establish the manufacturing base in Haimen was primarily influenced by its advantageous geographical location, convenient transportation, and talent resources.

The base will infuse significant vitality into the district's semi-conductor industry, said a local official.
