In the assessment, a total of nine Rugao-based companies stood out, reflecting the city's role as a leading business incubator in Nantong. The selected enterprises are engaged in diverse sectors, showcasing Rugao's dynamic business landscape.

Among the standout companies is Jiangsu Hefu Catering Management Co Ltd. Established in 2012, this catering chain, renowned for its traditional Chinese food, focuses on noodles and has consistently earned accolades for high growth and innovation in the culinary industry.

The city is also home to potential unicorn enterprises, including Zorrun Semiconductor and Yilong Technology. These companies are pioneering advancements in third-generation semiconductor and automotive braking systems, respectively.

Additionally, Rugao takes pride in hosting a cluster of gazelle enterprises, representing companies that develop steadily after startup period and sustain rapid growth with considerable potential. These companies, such as Shire Group and Quick Laser, contribute to the city's economic vibrancy as well.
