Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province has integrated technological innovation into its path of high-quality development, attracting a slew of enterprises.

One of them is ZonChow Industrial Automation (Jiangsu) Co Ltd, which specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of equipment for the metallization of photovoltaic cells. The company has developed process equipment with unique capabilities and established an integrated business system covering material research, process development, sales promotion, and terminal application.

"The most significant reason we chose Tongzhou is the favorable business environment here, with highly efficient administrative processes and strong government support," said Xue Maodong, the company's research and development director.

Nantong Haimei Electronics Co Ltd is a subsidiary of Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co Ltd. The company's products are used extensively in new energy vehicles, with major brands such as Volvo, Volkswagen, and Geely, incorporating their capacitors.

According to Zheng Jun, the company's deputy general manager, they currently produce 500,000 capacitors for new energy vehicles every year. With sales reaching 130 million yuan ($18.25 million) last year, they project an increase to 210 million yuan this year.
