The eight-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, which start on Sept 29 this year, are just around the corner. What will the attractions in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, offer to tourists during the holidays?

The Langshan Mountain scenic area will kick off a cultural and tourism festival from Sept 26 to Oct 6 welcoming visitors to pray for a smooth life by striking the bell and flying kongming lanterns, appreciate Yue Opera, and taste vegetarian noodles.

Bencha Ancient Town will thoroughly light up during the holidays with some traditional ceremonies, including worshipping the moon and walking around carrying a lantern under the moon.

Seyuan Garden will host a Chinese culture festival from Sept 26 to Oct 6. Decorated in the traditional Chinese style, the garden will offer folk custom experiences, music performances and parties, and parent-child footraces.

Tourists will have a good time at Junshan Mountain scenic area by picking oranges, tea leaves, and flowers. They will also enjoy themselves at Jiangong Lake Park by attending a beer and music carnival.
