Langshan National Forest Park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has recently made some improvements to increase its tourist appeal.

In June, Langshan park offered a Zhang Jian-themed activity, which invited tourists and local residents to visit the park's scenic spots related to renowned Nantong native Zhang Jian (1853-1926) while enjoying the beautiful natural environment.

Two months later, the park launched ice suckers in the shape of its famous scenic spots and blind boxes to attract more tourists.

Although Langshan park enters its slack season in summer, the water bus service in the park has been popular among tourists and residents. Water bus riders can taste local cuisines and enjoy light shows at night.

To improve visitors' experience in the park, the scenic area has added more facilities, including parking spaces, self-service vending machines, rest places for cyclists, and benches.

Since the summer this year, Langshan park has received about 300,000 visitors and during the second half of this year will host a variety of flower exhibitions to increase its attraction and influence.
