Authorities of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province held a nighttime job fair on July 14 as part of efforts to secure employment for college graduates.

The fair was aimed at helping job seekers, especially college graduates, find jobs within the area's four pillar industries of new-generation technology, high-end equipment, healthcare and new energy.

More than 60 major enterprises based in NETDA, including TW Solar Nantong Co, Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology Nantong Co, and Jiangsu Leader Electronic Information Technology Co, provided 2,600 jobs at the fair.

Authorities also offered guidance to job hunters at the job fair by explaining policies related to subsidies and low-interest loans.

Authorities have been trying to integrate job fairs with nighttime markets so as to increase employment, attract talent and further bolster the city's nighttime economy.
