Self-designed LNG refueling vessel launched in Qidong

Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co Ltd launched an 8,200-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering vessel (S1059) for Italian ship-owner Fratelli Cosulich Group at the shipyard of the Qidong Marine Engineering and Shipbuilding Industrial Park in Qidong on June 26.

The 8,200-cu-m LNG refueling vessel is a self-designed and customized ship built by the Chinese company for the foreign ship-owner.

The vessel is 113 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 13.5 meters deep with a draft of 6.5 meters. It has a carrying capacity of about 5,300 metric tons and has complete LNG bunkering functions.
