Logistics park in Hai'an wins national award
The Hai'an commerce and trade logistics industrial park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently honored with four "Jinfeima" awards for recognizing its achievements in the logistics sector.
Established in 2013, the park integrates railway, waterway and road transportation, strengthening the logistics industry in Hai'an and the Yangtze River Delta region.
The Hai'an Bonded Logistics Center, located in the park, is one of the five B-type bonded centers in Jiangsu province.
The center's annual handling capacity is 500,000 metric tons, or 10,000 twenty-foot equivalent units containers of imported and exported goods.
The park has also capitalized on the opportunities presented by the growing demand for cold-chain logistics in recent years.
In 2022, a warehouse designated by Hai'an customs as a storage facility for imported meat products completed its first transaction of 25 metric tons of Spanish pettitoes.
The warehouse, which is located in the Hai'an Bonded Logistics Center, is the first in the central region of Jiangsu province to receive permission to store imported meats.
The "Jinfeima Award" is recognized as one of the most influential accolades in China's logistics industry and serves as a significant indicator of the industry's development trends.
