Artworks by artists from BRI countries on display in Nantong

The Belt and Road International Art Invitational Exhibition was recently held at the Nantong Art Museum in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.

The exhibition showcased more than 80 artworks from China, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Ukraine, Italy, and Croatia, including Chinese paintings, woodblock paintings, and oil paintings.

The artists discovered beautiful natural scenery from unique perspectives and portrayed the social customs of cities and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The exhibition aims to showcase innovative and vigorous artistic creations in this diverse and open era so as to promote exchanges and the innovative development of Silk Road culture.

The 2023 International University Students Artwork Exhibition, sponsored by Nantong University, was also held at the same time. Over 50 exhibits by students from Spain, Thailand, Netherlands, and other countries were on display at the exhibition.

The School of Arts of Nantong University also invited art educators to discuss international higher art education among diverse cultures during the exhibition.
