Nantong village added to national travel route

Yisheng village in Haimen, a district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently added to the Yangtze River-themed national travel route by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism following its rural vitalization efforts.
With a well-preserved beautiful natural environment and profound culture, the village has improved the well-being of local residents by developing the tourism industry.

A national 4A-level attraction – cultural and tourism scenic area themed on Zhang Jian (1853-1926), a renowned industrial magnate, educator, and scholar in Nantong, the time-honored brand Yisheng wine, and Changle Town Ancient Street, all to be found in the village.
Yisheng has also developed experience-based tourism projects, including pottery making, wine tasting, fishing, and fruit picking, to attract more tourists and help increase the income of local residents.
