Tongfu Microelectronics, an integrated circuit (IC) encapsulation test service provider headquartered in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently finished constructing its overseas factory in Penang, Malaysia.

The factory is part of Tongfu's new overseas production base in Malaysia, which represents an investment of $110 million and spans 56,900 square meters.

According to the company, this base will boost the high-quality development of Tongfu and help the company become one of the best service providers of IC encapsulation tests in the world.

Tongfu is currently the fourth-largest IC encapsulation test service provider in the world and the second-largest in China.

Apart from this overseas production base, the company also has six production bases in China.
