Authorities of Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province held an investment promotion event at the 2023 China Global Cross-border E-commerce Selection Exhibition in Shenzhen on March 14. 

Wang Yibing, the deputy director of the district, said at the event that Haimen is best known for its home textile, electromechanical and redwood furniture industries. 

He added that Haimen will sustain efforts to optimize the business environment by improving supporting facilities and rolling out favorable policies. 

Two home textile enterprises from Haimen held road shows during the event.

Participants also visited the Haimen cross-border e-commerce industrial park in Shenzhen. 

More than 1,000 enterprises from across the country attended the 45,000-square-meter exhibition that covers more than 80 industries. 

The event was aimed at strengthening cooperation between Haimen's signature industries and cross-border e-commerce sellers, which will in turn facilitate the development of Haime's trade sector.
