Nantong University in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, held the 2023 on-campus job fair on March 3, local media reported.

The event is the university's first on-campus job fair after the optimization of COVID-19 response measures and the largest of its kind to be held in the past three years.

The job fair was divided into 20 zones, in which more than 500 enterprises offered 19,740 jobs and 1,809 students signed tentative agreements with companies. It also had a zone for policy consulting and occupational guidance for students.

The event is an effort by Nantong University to increase employment.

According to Yan Junying, director of the university's service center for career guidance, more job fairs and training activities will be held this year to strengthen students' skills and increase employment.
