The deals for 10 new projects related to new energy, new materials, new generation of information technology, and biomedicine were signed in the Hai'an high-tech industrial development zone on Feb 28. 

Among the new projects are four key industrial projects, four scientific and innovative projects, one modern agricultural project, and one modern service project. 

The securing of these deals is aimed at promoting innovative and industrial development in Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province. 

Yu Lizhong, the county's Party secretary, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. 

Yu said that enterprises from various industries are welcome to invest in the county, and that authorities will continue to improve their services and provide a better business environment for enterprises.
