Three works from Hai'an win provincial recognition
Three works from Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, have recently won the Best Works Award, local media reported.
The three award-winning works are the documentary film "Jianghaiyimai", the drama "A Land Where Rhodo is Blooming" and the book "Young Men are about to Travel".
The documentary film, which consists of six episodes, shows the culture and historical relics in the area along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
The drama, which is based on a real event, tells of the deep relationship between volunteer teachers from Hai'an and students in a rural area of Yunnan province.
The book, which is written by Chu Chengjian from Hai'an, represents a teenager's bumpy road to adulthood.
