There is a group of music lovers in Qidong, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, that have never stopped pursuing their dreams.

Lead singer Yin Songsong, drummer Lin Yitong, and guitarist Huang Qiuyi set up a band called VLT just five months ago.

"Music lovers all dream of starting a band and performing on stage," said Yin, who is also the organizer of the band.

When he received a performance invitation from the Shanghai Poly Grand Theater in August, he became restless and contacted his two friends to discuss forming a band.

During the day, Lin and Huang teach at musical instrument training institutions, while at night, they practice their songs together. They usually rehearse until 2 am.

The successful performance helped the band attract more like-minded people.

Yin said that the band members all have their own original songs, but they want to cover hit songs to improve their profile before performing some original ones.

The music lover has always dreamed of performing at a live house and promoting the music market in Qidong.
