Hai'an acrobats to perform nationwide

The acrobatic show Pursuing Aerospace by the Hai'an Acrobatics Troupe in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently listed as part of the 11th National Acrobatic Show.

Performed by five acrobats, Pursuing Aerospace pays tribute to people contributing to the development of the aerospace industry in China.

The show includes jumping between poles and climbing and sliding down poles with two or more acrobatics at one time.

The acrobatic show was scheduled to take place at the end of November, said Jia Shikang, head of the Hai'an Acrobatics Troupe.

Jia added that due to COVID-19, the show has been postponed and the latest schedule for the show has not yet been published.

The Hai'an Acrobatics Troupe consists of members from Puyang, Henan province, the birthplace of Chinese acrobatics.

The acrobatics troupe has created a large number of performances to enrich the cultural life of local residents and showcase the development of Hai'an.

One of its performances was aired on China Central Television and received more than 20 million likes online.
